Donald J. Mikus Jr. age 55 of Pittsgrove, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 in SJ Healthcare, R.M.C. Donald was born in Bridgeton to the late Donald J. Mikus Sr. and Harriett (Baker) Mikus, he was a resident of Pittsgrove for most of his life. Donald was employed by Vineland Transit Mix as a truck driver for many years before becoming the owner and operator of his own trucking business. He was a member of the Cross Roads Christian Ministries Church of Newfield and enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycles. Donald was predeceased by his father Donald J. Mikus Sr. in 2012 and his sister-in-law, Terri Mikus in 2008. Donald is survived by his mother, Harriet "Eleanor" Mikus of Pittsgrove. 2 brothers; David B. Mikus Sr. of Vineland and Daniel B. Mikus Sr. and his wife Toni of Pittsgrove. His sister, Pamela Mistalski and her husband Terrance of Manville, NJ. 3 sons; Donald J. Mikus III, Michael Mikus and Ryan Mikus, all of Millville. 2 grandchildren; Amelia and Donald IV and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday January 5th at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery, Pittsgrove.
