Donald F. Sloane, age 68 of Vineland, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 in Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia. Donald was born in Bridgeton to the late Donald and Madge (McGuigan) Sloane Sr. and lived in Vineland most of his life. Donald graduated from Bridgeton High School Class of 1965. After graduation he served in the New Jersey National Guard for seven years. Donald was formerly employed as a Dispatcher for LoBiondo Bros. Trucking Company of Rosenhayn. He enjoyed sailing, being near the water, motorcycles and sharing time with his family. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Sloane. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Georgia (VanSickle) Sloane of Vineland, his son, Christopher Sloane of Rosenhayn and his daughter, Shannon Hayes and her husband Moses of Waterford. Two grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew Hayes at home. Also his step-son, Michael Nelson and wife Candy of Evansville, Ind., his sister, Beth McNeill and her husband Michael of the Villas, NJ, two nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be private.
