Dorcas Munoz, age 74 of Vineland, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Dorcas was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Victor Munoz Sr. and Juana Rodriguez.  She was a resident of Vineland for over 45 years.  Dorcas was a very active member of the Puerto de Refugio Church for over 40 years.  She used her talents and grace from God as a licensed Minister of the church and worked in the Sunday School Ministry, the Bible Institute and played guitar and sang with the church choir.  She also hosted a radio program for many years on local stations of Vineland.

Dorcas enjoyed cooking, singing, playing the guitar and arts and crafts.  She loved to share time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Esther Sierra Munoz, Gloria Ortiz Munoz and Sarah Morales Munoz, along by her brother David Munoz.

Dorcas will be sadly missed and forever loved by her two children; Santos Calaff Jr. and his wife Peggy of Vineland and Angie T. Mercado and her husband Kemuel of Ohio.  Her 6 grandchildren; Savannah C. Calaff, Joseph Alvarado Jr., Xavier S. Cruz, Sarai T. Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez Jr., Angelique T. Mercado, David Mercado, and by her newest grandchild on the way in September, Emmanuel Santos Mercado.  She will also be missed by her brothers; Albert Munoz, Victor Munoz Jr., Eluid Munoz and Benjamin Munoz.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate her life on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10;30 am, at the Puerto de Refugio Church, 1575 N. Valley Ave. Vineland, NJ, with Rev. Anibel Candelario officiating.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.  Family and friends may gather from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Church.
