Dorothy "Dot" E. Hutchinson, age 90 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Dot was born in Vineland to the late Harry F. and Ethel (Lashley) Purdy and was a lifelong resident of Vineland. She was a graduate of Vineland High School with the Class of 1949, where she was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. Dot fell in love and married Herbert H. Hutchinson in 1952 and enjoyed 38 wonderful years together until his passing in 1990. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Vineland. Dot was a proud Avon Representative and won numerous sales awards. She enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, crossword puzzles and TV Westerns.

She was predeceased by her son Dennis Hutchinson, her grandson David L. Hutchinson and by her siblings Alice Lewis, Harry and Fred Purdy.

Dot is survived by her 3 beloved children; Daryl Hutchinson and his wife Annette, Doreen McKishen and her husband David and David Hutchinson, all of Vineland. Her sister-in-law, Loretta Cesare of Buena and by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 27th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 3:00-4:00 pm on Saturday. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Willow Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
