Edith May Fenimore, age 78 of Vineland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 14, 2025. Edie was born to William Preston Fenimore and Harriet Alison (Henderson) Fenimore and grew up in Woodstown. She was a graduate of Delsea High School with the class of 1965. She worked as a telephone operator for Prudential Insurance and spent some time with Manpower in various office support positions.

She enjoyed time spent with her sisters and with her granddaughters. She was an avid reader and very well spoken. Wild birds that would visit the feeder and bird bath always brought her great joy. Edie loved nature and enjoyed the yearly daffodils, tulips and pink flowering cherry tree in her yard. Edie was admired for her beautiful voice, she could sing a capella on key. She had a great appreciation for the arts and never missed her granddaughters' yearly dance recitals or swim meets. She was beyond proud of the opportunities and successes of both of her granddaughters, that were not ever available to her, so she always encouraged them to continue to do their best.

Edie was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Margaret Jean Foote.

Edie is survived by her companion Joseph Pace, her daughter Alexandra Saltar (Tony), her granddaughters Isabela and Angelina Saltar, her sister, Irma Rutkowski, her brother William Fenimore (Julie), and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday April 18th from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, located at 1024 E Landis Avenue, Vineland. Pastor Jeanette Block from First United Methodist Church of Vineland will deliver the funeral service at 5:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
