Edward F. "Ed" Bush, age 86 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, evening, July 18, 2023, with his loving wife and family by his side.

Born in White Township, New Jersey on October 25, 1936 to the late Edward F. Bush Sr. and Katherine M. (Kenna) Bush. He worked on the family farm up until his eighteenth birthday, after which he enlisted in the United States Air Force.

During his 21 year military career as an aviation mechanic, Ed was stationed at several Air Force bases, ones in Greenland, Philippines, Germany and in the states of Louisiana, Illinois, Texas, Nevada and lastly California, before retiring in 1975 as a Master Sergeant. During his stay at most installations, especially Germany, Ed would enjoy taking his family on sightseeing mini vacation trips, most memorable would be touring the medieval castles in Germany. After his final move back to New Jersey, he was employed by RDS Trucking of Vineland and then Vineland Public Schools until his full retirement in 1998.

During some of his free time, Ed liked going fishing out in the bay with his brother Bill and brother-in-law Pete Keller, but most of all he loved spending precious time with family, where his mischievous smile and quick wit would always get a laugh or two.

Ed is survived by his wife of 65 years; Kathryn L. (Fleming) Bush and their children; Deborah Bush, Edward F. Bush III (Sharon), Kathryn Farside (Charles), Gerald W. Bush Sr. (Karen) and Joanne Hodgeson. Eleven grandchildren; (Drew and Jaclyn), (Charles, Jennifer and Christopher), (Kirsten), and (Jenna, Nicole, Sidney and Bon), along with thirteen great-grandchildren and by his sisters; Florence "Flo" Attanasio and Katherine "Katy" Longenberger.

Ed was predeceased by his brother William "Bill" Bush and by his grandson Gerald W. Bush Jr.

Private funeral arrangements were under the care of Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, Vineland.
