Edward F. Smith, age 66 of Pittsgrove (formerly of Vineland) passed away suddenly Saturday, January 18th 2014 at home. Edward was born in Vineland to the late Charles J. and Mary L. (Durand) Smith and lived in Vineland all his life before moving to Pittsgrove. Edward graduated from Sacred Heart High School Class of 1964. He was a sergeant in the National Guard Reserves. Prior to retirement, Edward was employed in Retail Management for various Department Stores in the area. He was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish; Sacred Heart Church of Vineland. He enjoyed fishing, casino trips and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Smith. Survivors include his two brothers, Joseph P. Smith of Pittsgrove and Paul C. Smith and his wife Joy of Vineland. One Sister, Janice Zanni and her husband Robert of Vineland and Grandson, Jason Smith of Mays Landing. Also survived by dear friends Bill and Linda Perla of Mays Landing and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
