Edward F. Kelly Jr., age 77 of Newfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Ed was born in Camden to the late Dorothy C. (Benson) and Edward F. Kelly, Sr. He was a graduate of Camden High School, class of 1961. Ed proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Ed worked in many fields but his love of driving led him to driving trucks. After his retirement, Ed's "fun job" and most enjoyed, was working at the Millville Motor Sports Park in the maintenance department. He enjoyed NASCAR, and old MOPAR cars, long car rides and going on cruises and travelling. Ed loved hats. No matter where he travelled a hat was always brought home. An avid reader, Ed enjoyed crime novels. Above all, Ed truly cherished the time he shared with family and friends.

He was predeceased by his baby sister Dorothy Patricia Kelly in 1947.

Ed is survived by his loving partner of 18 years, Barbara DeMarco. His 3 beloved children; Julie D. Kelly and her fiancé Kevin P. Goodwin, Heather Capell and her husband Nicholas and Kevin Kelly and his wife Rachel, and step children Jennifer and Eric Ruggeri, CJ DeMarco, and Carla and Marcel Mike. His sister Linda (Kelly) Nixon and by his 9 grandchildren; Annaliese Bryson, Theodore Barbuto, Tristan Kelly, Nicky Capell, Daniel, Nicholas, Jenna, Gabriel Ruggeri, and Kenleigh Mike. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 13th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
