Elaine M. Skvarcek, age 94 of Vineland, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Genesis Millville Center. Elaine was born in Atlantic City to the late Harry and Ellen (Ford) Morris. A long time Sears of Vineland employee, she was also an accomplished seamstress who made clothes for her children when they were young and later, created beautiful embroidery and counted cross-stitch pieces. But her greatest joys were spending time with family and friends, going out to eat and making scrumptious baked goods which she happily shared with everyone. An Army wife, she traveled widely even living in the Philippines both before and after WW2. Known for always having a smile on her face, Elaine's sunny disposition and optimistic outlook will be missed by all who knew her. Elaine was predeceased by her five siblings, her husband Andrew and her sons, James and David. She is survived by her daughter Elaine A. Skvarcek of Vineland, her grandson Steven Skvarcek and 3 great-grandchildren, William, Caden and Brenna Skvarcek, all of Runnemede. Funeral services will be private.
