Elba R. Bermudez, age 76 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Elba was born in Puerto Rico to the late Eluterio and Maria (Padilla) Rodriguez and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life.  She was a member of the Faro de Luz Church of Millville.  Elba loved to share time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and the peacefulness of watching hummingbirds.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Nehemias Bermudez Sr. in 2016, her 2 sons; Nehemias Bermudez Jr. in 2006 and Adrian Bermudez in 1971, and by her daughter Lydia Bermudez in 2018.

Elba is survived by her son Edwin "Eddie" Bermudez and his wife Sara of Vineland.  2 grandchildren; Brittany and Natalie Rose Bermudez.  4 great-grandchildren; Jayden, Xavier, Gabriel and Scarlette Rose.  She is also survived by 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at 11:00 am at the Faro de Luz Church, 1700 Wheaton Ave. Millville, with Rev. Ramon Maldonado officiating.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.  The viewing will be on Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00 am at the CHURCH.
