Eleanor E. Miles, age 88 of Newfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

She was born in Landisville, New Jersey to the late Nicholas and Pauline (DiDomenico) Evangelista. Along with her husband Ernest, Eleanor was the owner and operator of Miles Construction for over 65 years. She loved the beach in Avalon, NJ and enjoyed traveling to auto-races with her husband for many years, where she made many life-long friends. Eleanor was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and above all she truly cherished the times she shared with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nick and Pauline Evangelista and by her sister Rita Bryant.

Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ernest Miles, Sr. and her 3 beloved children; Sherry Pustizzi and her husband Dominick, Ernest Miles Jr. and his wife Peggy and Kimberly DeCicco and her husband William. Along with her 6 grandchildren; Megan, Jason (Andrea) and Shawn Pustizzi and Ernie III (Sarah), Melissa and Kevin Miles. Her Great-grandson Jason Miles Pustizzi, Jr. and by her sister Evelyn Rance.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, June 22nd from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
