Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Fuscia (nee DeFranco), of Pittsgrove Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 21st, 2017 at the age of 84.

Betty was born to parents Anthony and Margaret (DiPietro)DeFranco on March 18, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up as the eldest of four and attended Merchantville High School. She married her sweetheart Vincent "Ricky" Fuscia. She and Vincent began raising her family in Camden and eventually settled in Marlton, where they would live for 36 years.

Vincent passed away in August of 2007 and Betty decided to remain in New Jersey to be close to her family. She relocated to Cape May Court House and finally Pittsgrove Township.

Betty was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time in Wildwood, the beach, the boardwalk, Italian cooking, dance parties, going out to dinner and so much more. Betty loved animals, her beautiful cat, Cory and especially the puppy.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Betty Jean Solar, Lisa Buscham and Marguerite Fuscia; her sons, Richard Fuscia and Mark Fuscia; her sister, Marguerite Bertino; her brother Michael DeFranco; fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is scheduled on Tuesday June 27th at 11:30 am, at The Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home at 1024 East Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.  Family and friends may gather from 10:30 - 11:30am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty's life. Betty adopted a stray kitten during her final years.
