Emily Valles, age 71 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Pemberton, NJ.

Emily was born in Queens, NY to the late Jose De Leon and Nilda De Los Santos. She was raised and attended school in Jackson, NJ and worked as a nurse's aide in Lakewood. Emily earned her nursing degree in 1984 and worked as a licensed practical nurse with Millville Hospital for 6 years.

Emily was an active member of the Puerta de Refugio A&O Church and loved to serve the Lord. She enjoyed knitting and sharing time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Jose L. Valles and by her 2 sons, Augustine Gonzalez and Jaime Gonzalez.

Emily is survived by her 3 loving sons; Jose M. Gonzalez, Thomas Gonzalez and wife Wilma and Elias Gonzalez and wife Glenda and her 5 step-children; Jose L. Valles, Delia E. Burgos, Jose A. Valles, Jorge L. Valles and Francisco Valles. Her 20 beloved grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Her 3 brothers; Johnny and wife Sharon, Ronnie and Alfredo and her 2 sisters; Silvia and Ba-hesya. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Blanca Bonfiglio, Margarita Gonzalez and Elisa Gonzalez and her brothers-in-law; Robert Gonzalez and wife Debbie, Marcus Gonzalez and Victor Gonzalez and wife Sandra. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9th at 12:00 pm at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 11:00-12:00 pm at the funeral home. Emily will be laid to rest in Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota Florida.
