Eric Ramon Baez was born on April 20, 1957. Eric heard the voice of Jesus say "come unto me, all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest", and he closed his eyes on this side and went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Eric was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He then lived in Camden and Vineland, New Jersey all his life. Eric enjoyed being with his family and making them laugh. Eric was a strong, brave, caring and lovable person to everyone that knew him. He had an enormous smile and personality that would light up a room. He loved playing dominos and listening to music, but most of all he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Eric is survived by his wife Myriam Baez; his mother Amalia Baez, of Vineland, his step-kids Jackie Colon, Berto Figueroa and Genesis Saez. Four sons Eric Baez Jr., Jhovany Baez, Yamil Baez all of Connecticut, Eric Claudio-Baez of Vineland and his two daughters Jaclyn Lynette Baez and Erica Claudio-Baez both of Connecticut and step-daughters Nora Gonzalez and Erica Quinones. He has 33 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Three brothers Snyder Baez, Irvin Baez and Ivan Baez all of Vineland. Five sisters Maribel Aviles of Vineland, Ingi Bolorin of Pennsauken, Jacqueline Baez of Puerto Rico, Claribeth Baez of Vineland and Rosana Rolan of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Ramon Baez and stepson Efrain Rosa Jr.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten! "The Family"

Family and friends are invited to gather for the viewing on Thursday, June 23rd from 10:00-11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Roberto Gulan officiating. Interment will follow the service in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
