Etelvina Rivera, age 82 of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 peacefully at Bishop McCarthy Residence surrounded by her loving family. Etelvina was an employee and retiree from Rock Tenn Co., formerly Cleveland Partition. She was a long time member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Etelvina is survived by her four children; daughter, Margarita Arce and husband Carlos, son, Carmelo Ortiz and wife Zoraida, son, Luis Ortiz and wife Barbara Keener-Ortiz, all of Vineland and daughter Luz Melendez and husband Wilfredo of Massachusetts. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. And by her 2 sisters-in-law whom she loved like her sisters, Petra Lago and Blanca Rivera. Etelvina also leaves behind her beloved chihuahua Rusty. A Mass of Christian burial for Etelvina will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E.
