Eugene Bellusci, age 83 of Vineland, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Eugene was born in Bronx, N.Y. to the late Joseph and Concetta (Bruno) Bellusci and was a resident of Vineland for most of his life. In his younger years, Eugene was a milkman for Shoemaker Dairies of Bridgeton. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War as a Signalman 2nd Class and received the Distinguished Service Metal. Eugene was an honorary graduate of the St. Augustine Prep High School in Richland. Prior to retirement, he was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance for 30 years. Eugene was a member of St. Isidore's Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Tin Can Sailors. He enjoyed cooking for the senior luncheons at St. Isidores and going to the casinos. He was predeceased by his wife Dolores (DeZutti) Bellusci in 2010. Eugene is survived by his son, John Bellusci (Rhonda) of Pocatella, Idaho. His daughter, Debbie Lazareff and companion Randy Pancoast of Vineland. Former son-in-law, Larry Lazareff of Vineland, 5 grandchildren; Mollie Wolfe of Louisiana, John Wolfe of Poland, Katie and Krista Bellusci of Pocatella, Idaho and Elaine Klein (Devin) of Kenneth Square, PA. Also by his sister, Genevieve Marcucci of Buena and his brother Joseph (Mary) Bellusci of Hallandale, FL. His niece, Marie Finn and his 2 nephews; Justin (Danielle) Bellusci and Mario (Tina) Bellusci. And by many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Christ the Good Sheppard Parish, Church of St. Isidore, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. The viewing will be held from 9:00am -11:15am on Friday at the Church.
