Eugene Louis Boccelli, age 72 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 6, 2016.

Eugene was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Louis and Anna (Colucci) Boccelli and was a lifelong resident of Vineland.  He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School with the class of 1961.  After high school, Eugene joined the US Airforce and served in England for 3 years during the Vietnam Era.  Prior to his retirement, Eugene worked for IBM of Cherry Hill as a customer engineer for over 35  years.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the American Legion and the SJ Cruisers Car Club.  Eugene enjoyed dining out with his friends and casino trips to Atlantic City.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Clare E. (Pratt) Boccelli of Vineland.  His son Dominic L. Boccelli and wife Jennifer of Cincinnati, Ohio and his daughter Donna M. Boccelli of Sturbridge, Mass.  He is also survived by 2 grandsons; Nicodemo and Quintin Boccelli of Cincinnati, his sister-in-law Shirley Boccelli of Landisville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eugene was predeceased by his 2 brothers, Anthony and Robert Boccelli.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9 th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024  E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Inurnment in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery will be private.
