Felicita Roman, age 93 of Vineland, our beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at home. Felicita was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Josefa (Mendez) Rivera, she was a resident of Vineland since 1956. As a member of the Divine Mercy Parish of Vineland, Felicita belonged to the El Cursillo movement of the Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her large family, bingo, dominos, casino trips and scratch off lottery tickets. Most importantly Felicita enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Felicita was predeceased by her husband Manuel Roman, her daughters Ana Roman and Primitiva Rodriguez and by her son Angel Roman. Felicita is survived by her loving children; 2 sons, Jaime Roman and wife Lucia of Atlantic City and Steve Perez and wife Gloria of Perth Amboy. 5 daughters; Elba Perez, Carmen Roman and husband Raul, Carmen Andujar and husband Jose, with whom she resided, Lucy Cardona and husband Eugene, all of Vineland, and Rose Soto and husband Deacon Samuel of Malaga. She is also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother, 50 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, Jan. 26th at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may gather on Sunday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and on Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.
