It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Felicita Solis, “Fela”, aged 80, who passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the home she lived in for 56 years; with her daughter Blanca by her side.

Fela loved spending time with her family, finding deals at her favorite stores, gardening, and traveling/cruising with her family. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Negron and Maria Sanabria. She came to Vineland in 1964 and soon thereafter, met and married the love of her life, the late Felix Solis. She had three daughters the following three years. She spent the majority of her career at DeRossi and Son Co. In her younger years, she loved sewing and making matching outfits for her daughters. Fela also babysat most of her nieces and nephews and even friends’ children. She was Nana to everyone.

Fela is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Marilyn Siciliano (Charles), Damari Solis-Rodriguez (Nelson), and Blanca Solis. Granddaughters Macy Torres, Katie Siciliano, and Rachel Siciliano. Great grandson, Romeo Angelo. Her friend and sister-in-law and Enoelia Bernard and brother-in-law Gerardo Solis, as well as her many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Felix Solis, her sister Elba Solis, her brother Juan Bernard, Sr., and her special companion of many years Armando Alvarez.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 2nd at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Following the service, Fela will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
