Frances (Pacitto) Buono, age 96 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born in Vineland, NJ, on December 18, 1925.  She is the 10 ^th of 12 children born to the late Dominick and Lucy (Damico) Pacitto.

The mother to 3 daughters, Patricia Pastirko, Darlene Vai Disibio, and Michele Legge of her marriage with Michael J. Tarantino and blessed with extended family that gave her two stepchildren, Robert Buono and Kathi Reilly from her marriage to the late Frank A. Buono.

She was a successful entrepreneur owning two hair salons, McFrans in Vineland and Turnersville Beauty Salon in Turnersville, NJ. She was a co-owner of the Aloha Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ.  In addition, Frances worked with her husband, Frank Buono, keeping his books for multiple construction companies in New Jersey, Arizona and Kentucky.  She was proud to be part of the Mary Kay Cosmetics work force.

In her younger years, Frances loved ballroom dancing with her former deceased husband, Michael Tarantino and was an avid bowler with the late Frank Buono. Cooking for her family and sharing recipes gave her great joy. She enjoyed crocheting and playing games, especially pinochle and bingo. She attended Catholic Mass every Sunday and her faith was the foundation of her loving soul.

Frances was predeceased by 10 of her siblings, Jennie Nunziato, Rose Nigroni, Lucy Crist, Nicholas Pacitto, James Pacitto, Anthony Pacitto, Frank Pacitto, Lawrence Pacitto and by her 2 infant brothers, both named Alexander. She was also predeceased by her 2 grandchildren, Jarred Borst and Christina Phillips.

Along with her 3 daughters, Frances is survived by her brother Patrick Pacitto and by her 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3 ^rd at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Thursday from 9:30-11:00 am at the funeral home.
