Francisca "Pitita" Negron, age 98 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Pitita was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Jovita Negron and has been a resident of Vineland since 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and later the Divine Mercy Parish. Pitita enjoyed word puzzles, bingo and gardening and truly cherished her time shared with family.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter Lismary Alvaladejo.

Pitita is survived by her 8 beloved children, 7 daughters; Egda Judith Martinez (Tony Mercado) of Utuado, PR, Adria Martinez, Olga Martinez and Alicia (Martinez) Alvaladejo, all of Vineland, Norma Martinez (Jose Morales) of Utuado, PR, and Nancy Montero (Angel Quinones) and Raquel Montero (Vincente Arce) both of Vineland, and 1 son Jerry Vargas of Vineland. Along with her cherished 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, March 11th at 11:00 am at the Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may gather for the viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland and again on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church, prior to Mass.
