Obituary for Frank R. Echevarria

May 5, 1960 – July 18, 2026

Frank R. Echevarria, age 66, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 after an extended illness. Frank R. Echevarria lived a life marked by authenticity, courage, and a deep love for those around him. Along his journey, he met the woman who would become the love of his life for 25 years, Sandra (Tordiglione) Echevarria, his faithful companion through every adventure, every laugh, and every quiet moment shared. He is also survived by his beloved dog Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesús and Hermenegilda Echevarria, and by his sister Magda Evelyn Beltran.

Born into a large and loving family, Frank was one of nine siblings, each of whom he cherished deeply: Cristóbal, Bert (Elsa), Sam (Ana), Hilda (Beny), Doris (Willie), Robert (Yvette), and Moisés (Elba). His affection extended to his fourteen nieces and nephews, who will always remember him with admiration and love.

Frank is also survived by his sisters‑in‑law Elaine, Maria, Dana (Steve), Katie and Jessica all of whom loved him dearly and considered him a warm and constant presence in their lives.

His Way of Living: Frank had a curious and adventurous spirit. He loved nature, especially birds, with a particular fascination for eagles — a perfect symbol of the strength and freedom he embodied. He enjoyed hiking, adventure trips, the thrill of NHRA drag racing, and the simple joy of collecting baseball cards.

His Legacy: Frank lived fully. He chose his own path and walked it with purpose. His life was a blend of strength, independence, curiosity, and adventure, and everyone who knew him felt the sincerity of his presence. Frank didn’t just live — he left a mark. A mark of love, freedom, family, and a life lived without fear of being himself.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 4:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
