George Meremianin, age 84 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

George was born in Srdobran, Yugoslavia to the late George and Alexandra (Klemenz) Meremianin Sr.  He was a resident of Vineland for most of his life and a proud veteran of the US Airforce.  Prior to his retirement, George worked as a scientific apparatus glass grinder with Kimble Glass Co. of Vineland for over 39 years.  He was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church of Vineland and enjoyed sharing time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.

George is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Maria (Sokolov) Meremianin of Vineland.  His 2 sons; Walter Meremianin and his wife Beth Ann of Vineland and Nicholas Meremianin and his wife Maria of Cherry Hill.  Along with his 3 grandchildren; Alexander, Andrew and Anastasia.

Family and friends may gather on Sunday, Sept. 9th from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 2211 W. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Panikhida Service beginning at 7:00 pm.  A viewing will also be held on Monday morning from 9:00-10:00 am at the Church, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am.  Interment with military funeral honors will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
