German Acevedo, age 63 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

German was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Rosaura (Soto) Acevedo. He was a Vineland resident for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, German was employed as a mason for 20 years and also worked for Patriot Window of Hammonton. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars and most especially sharing time with family and friends.

German was predeceased by his sister Marta Acevedo in 2016.

German is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 12 years, Myrna (Plaza) Acevedo of Vineland. His 4 children; German Acevedo Jr. and Joanna Acevedo, both of Aricibo, P.R., Franco Eloy Acevedo of Bridgeton, NJ and Erik Acevedo of Vineland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 sisters; Ana Rosa Acevedo of Camuy, P.R., Grace Nilda Acevedo of Aricibo, P.R. and Blanca Acevedo of Utuado, P.R., 2 brothers; Franco Acevedo and Carlos Acevedo, both of Florida and his brother-in-law, Ramon Quintana of Camuy, P.R. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousin.

The funeral service is private.
