Grace Mae (Pangburn) Brecht, age 84 of Millville, passed away peacefully after an extended illness, at home on Sunday, February 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born in Millville to the late Edward and Sarah (Sooy) Pangburn and was a lifelong resident of Cumberland County. Prior to her retirement, Grace was employed by Sheppard Bus Co. for over 30 years as a school bus driver. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church of Millville and wrote poetry and musical dramas for the church. Grace enjoyed traveling and fishing and was most known for her love of the color pink.

She was predeceased by her husband David Theodore Brecht in 2021, her daughter Melody Mae Brecht and by her siblings; Barbara Braunsdorf, Edward Pangburn and Rev. Fred Pangburn.

Grace is survived by her 5 children; Sarah Elizabeth Clements (Kenneth) of Millville, NJ, Dawn Renee Brecht-Mangiafico (Salvatore) of Greenwich, NJ, David T. Brecht (Michelle) of Cumberland County, Grace Mae Bohanna (Brian) of Fargo, N.D. and Darlin Delight Klawitter (Frank) of Port Norris, NJ. Along with her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers; Frank Pangburn (Dottie) of Millville, NJ and Rev. Donald Pangburn (Mildred) of Mt. Union, Pa.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28th at 11:00 am at the First Assembly of God Church, 1700 Wheaton Ave. Millville. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church.
