Grace Robinson Campbell, 98 Grace Robinson Campbell passed away peacefully on June 4th in Charlotte NC surrounded by her loving family. Born in Asheville, NC on June 15, 1914, Grace attended the Cecil Business College and worked for the Social Security Office and Vanderbilt Hotel until she married Charles Hughes Campbell in 1945. She and Charles made their home in Vineland, NJ on New Pear Street. Widowed in 1956, Grace raised her two children in Vineland where she resided for 65 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles (Cig) Campbell and her brother, Harry W Robinson. Grace is survived by her son Cary W Campbell and his wife Pat in Charlotte NC and her daughter, Charlene Campbell Barker and her husband Colin of Seabrook Island SC. She has two grandchildren, Kelly Campbell Long and her husband Wilbur who reside in Charlotte, NC and Drew Campbell Barker and his fiancé Ries Dewey who reside in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by two great granddaughters, Clara Tate Long and Carly Mei Long. Grace was first and foremost a mother and homemaker. She cared for her children until they reached adulthood and then took care of her mother and her brother always putting the needs of her family above her own. She was a prolific communicator, writing letters, notes and later in her life e-mails to friends and family up until her illness in February of 2013. She had her own Facebook page and loved reading about the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of her many friends in Vineland and all over the USA. A member of the Eastern Star her entire adult life and The Wallsholm Club in Vineland for over 35 years, Grace enjoyed the fellowship and service opportunities both organizations provided. She was committed to her Church, First Presbyterian Church of Vineland, where she held the distinct honor of being the longest serving member, 65 years. A celebration of Grace's life will be held on June 8th at First Presbyterian Church, 800 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland with the Reverend John D. Fordyce officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm in the church parlor with the funeral service scheduled for 2:00 pm in the sanctuary. Burial will follow the service at Siloam Cemetery, N Valley Avenue in Vineland.
