GRACE MOORE, 80 Longtime Vineland Resident, School Teacher Grace M. Moore, 80, formerly of Vineland, NJ, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Amelia Island, Florida, after an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born in Millville, NJ, and lived in Vineland for 68 years before moving to Florida. After graduating Glassboro State College, she taught primarily first grade for 37 years in the Vineland Public School System, receiving much recognition for her high quality of teaching. Mrs. Moore also enjoyed needlepoint, reading, and adopting every stray cat! She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Desiree and Kenneth Perkins, of Amelia Island, and her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jacquelyn and Steven E. Miner of Yulee, Florida, and three other granddaughters, Laura, Julianna, and Abigail Perkins. A Memorial Service is being given in her honor at Wainwright Bernhardt Funeral Home, on Thursday December 27th at 11:00 a.m., visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m., located at 1024 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland. Her final resting place will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hughesville, Pennsylvania, with her husband of 48 years, William J. Moore, roofing contractor of Vineland, who passed away in 2001.
