Helen B. Hnidowicz, age 89 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Helen was born on January 12, 1935, she was the daughter of Rose Scaglia and Joseph Hnidowicz, and granddaughter to John Scaglia and Apolonia Marcacci. For 26 years, Helen worked as a secretary at the Training School and for 20 years as a Tenant Interviewer and Investigator with the Vineland Housing Authority.

A devoted mother and lifelong resident of Vineland, NJ, she was a dedicated Phillies fan and an avid yard sale goer; she loved to draw and paint, to laugh, to have a good restaurant meal and to socialize with her friends.

Helen is dearly loved and survived by her children Stacy and Steven Harbold and by her grandson Don Emery. She was predeceased by her first son Wayne Harbold in Jan 2015.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather for the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
