Helen G. (Mongelluzzo) Manestrina, age 85 of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday September 4, 2012 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born in Malaga, NJ to the late Joseph and Carmella (Prudenti) Mongelluzzo and was a resident of Vineland most of her life. She was a graduate of Clayton High School, Class of 1944. Prior to retirement, Helen was employed by Winans Paper Products and Progresso Foods of Vineland. She was a charter member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church. Helen enjoyed gardening, golfing, swimming and being outdoors. She was a loved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Helen was predeceased by her sisters; Angie Bascone and Florence Sangataldo, of Vineland. 3 brothers; Michael and John Mongelluzzo, of Malaga and Pasquale Mongelluzo of Willow Grove, Pa. Helen is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Louis Manestrina of Vineland. Her son, Robert L. Manestrina and wife JoAnn of Vineland, and her daughter, Debra Deon and husband David of Upper Pittsgrove Twp., NJ. Also by her 4 sisters; Rose DiMatteo of Malaga, Amelia Ippolito of Vineland, Louise Wescoat of Vineland and Mary Danella of Cherry Hill. Her brother Albert Mongelluzzo of Millville and 4 granddaughters; Holly Buono (Robert) of Vineland, Erin Briggs (Ryan) of Vineland, Danielle Beety (David) of Mantua and Desiree Deon of Abingdon, MD. And 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday September 8, 2012 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore the Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland.
