Ozzie was born in Germany to the late Peter and Rebekka (Haisch) Ossiboff and lived in Vineland most of his life. Ozzie served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Prior to retirement, he was employed by United Parcel Service for 32 years in Vineland, where he was honored for his perfect attendance. Ozzie was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Vineland, German-American Society, Fraternal Order of Eagles Club and the Recreation Club of Vineland. Ozzie was an avid soccer player and an official FIFA referee. He was owner-operator, with his wife Monika, of the Soccer Goal on Landis Ave. for twelve years. He was predeceased by his infant son Michael, brother Emil Ossiboff and sister-in-law Beate Meyer. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Monika (Lutter) Ossiboff of Vineland, three daughters, Cynthia Ossiboff of Pleasantville, Kim Schwindt of E.H.T. and Nicole Stanewich and her husband Mark of Vineland. Sister-in-law, Erika Ossiboff of Bridgeton, three brother-in-laws, Klaus Lutter and his wife Edith, Horst Lutter and his wife Inge, all of Vineland and Gerd Lutter of Rumney, N.H. Also two sister-in-laws, Ingrid Vandenberg and her husband John of Buena and Ursula Barbeck and her husband John of Vineland and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27th at 8:00 pm from the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Gary N. Stieglar officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation hours are 6:00-8:00 pm prior to the service in Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ozzie's memory may be made to the church.
