Isabel Bermudez, age 90 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Isabel was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Eladio and Juana (Lugo) Bermudez and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. She was one of the founding members of the Vineland Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church at 3rd and Quince St. in Vineland. Isabel was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading the Bible, singing hymns and time spent with her family. Her greatest joy in life was sharing love and being with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Elias Bermudez Sr., her daughter Iris Rivera and by her son Elias Bermudez Jr.

Isabel is lovingly survived by her 3 children; Lydia Dargoltz (George), Betty Flitcraft and Alvin Bermudez (Lori), all of Vineland. Her daughter-in-law, Lisa Bermudez of Westwood, NJ, son-in-law, Sam Rivera of Bradenton, FL and by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 3 sisters; Elena Rivera of Vineland, Esther Acosta of St. Cloud, FL. And Maria Bermudez of Vineland, along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday evening, Sept. 1st from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Vida de Fe Church, 1115 S. Main Rd. Vineland. The viewing will continue on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 am in Church. The funeral service will begin on Saturday at 10:00 am. Following the service, Isabel will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
