Jacob Rosenfeld, age 101 of Woodbine, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 5, 2020.
Jacob was born in New York City, NY to the late Max and Katie (Metzendorf) Rosenfeld and was a resident of Woodbine for most of his life. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean war. Jacob was the owner of a movie theater in Port Norris, NJ for many years. He then established and operated the Woodbine TV Sales and Repair Shop on Washington Ave. in Woodbine until his retirement.
He was predeceased by his son Sam Rosenfeld in 2019.
Jacob is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mildred (Gitomer) Rosenfeld of Woodbine. His son Joe Rosenfeld and wife Zulma of Dallas, Georgia and Jacob's daughter Carol Goldman of Woodbine. Along with 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9th at 2:00 pm at the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 129 Crest Haven Rd. Cape May Court House, NJ, with Rabbi Bradley Bleefeld officiating.
Donations in memory of Jacob may be made to the American Heart Association.
