James V. Jennings, age 61 of Vineland passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 19th in Penn University Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

James was born in Vineland to Fina (Pizzo) and the late James T. Jennings, and lived in Vineland all his life. He is a high school graduate from Vineland High School. Post high school, James became a freelancer working with construction and pursued becoming an entrepreneur. He worked at several companies through his twenties and thirties including, Baruffi Brothers/Jersey Panel and worked in HVAC for Laury Heating/Plumbing.

Early on, James loved lifting weights and exercising. He became disabled at age 38, however he did not let that stop him from enjoying his hobbies. His passions included golf, hunting, fishing, filming his nephew's sports outings, and listening to music. Jimmy was a self taught guitar player and loved bands such as The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, and Pink Floyd. Jimmy was a proud member of the NRA and Cumberland Rifleman Association, and frequented Buck's Rest Gun Club where he hunted with his father.

He was also a wiz when it came to operating and repairing various types of machinery. Jimmy had a wonderful sense of humor, and cared deeply for his family and friends. He considered himself a true patriot, and firmly believed in the freedom of speech.

He will be dearly missed by his loving Mother Fina (Pizzo) Jennings. Brother Christopher Jennings and his wife Darla. Two Nephews, Austin and Trevor Jennings. He will be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends whom he was very close with.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 26th at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, at 11:00 am. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am, prior to the service.
