Jean (DiPersia) Gellert, age 78 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Jean was born in Vineland to the late George and Angelina (Navagato) DiPersia and was a resident of Vineland all her life. Jean was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, of Vineland. Prior to retirement, she worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for over 25 years, and was a member of The Pioneers. Jean was a writer and many people enjoyed reading her poetry. Jean is survived by her son, George A. Gellert of Vineland, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was predeceased by her 2 brothers; Paschael "Pat" DiPersia and Felix DiPersia. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, Nov. 25th at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
