It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Jeanette DeJesus, age 50, who is known as Phat Janet.

She was born in Vineland and has lived here most of her life.  She worked many years as a CNA completing 18 years at Bishop McCarthy, she was the best at what she did.

She is survived by her husband John Negron, and three sons Ja'Ques Colon, Jeremiah Negron and Samir Negron.  She is also survived by her mother Angela Matos and father Benjamin Colon.  Siblings Carlos Berrios (Janet Berrios), Raymond Berrios, Oscar Berrios, Jeraldo Berrios, Kelly Colon, Juny Colon and Willy Colon.  She is also survived by nephews and nieces Cruz Gomez, Alex Gomez, Natalie Harris and Jilliana Berrios, along with several great nieces, nephews and son's girlfriend Angelica Rodriguez. She was blessed to have been surrounded by many friends that were like family.   Jeanette touched may souls in her lifetime and could easily put a smile on your face with her infectious laugh and jokes.  She will be deeply missed.

Jeanette will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, with a graveside service beginning at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
