Jesus Castro Jr., age 49 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden. Born in Vineland to Jesus Castro Sr. and Juanita Figueroa, Jesus was a lifelong Vineland resident. He enjoyed playing handball, pool and sharing time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Asia. Jesus was a very lighthearted, carefree and kind man, who always knew how to make people laugh. He was predeceased by his step-father, Angelo Arroyo. Jesus is survived by his parents, his daughter Kingyada Castro and by his son Joshua Castro, both of Vineland. His granddaughter, Asia Cruz, his brothers, Daniel Castro and Angelo Arroyo Jr. both of South Carolina, and his sister, Sonia Nwizu of Kentucky. Jesus is also survived by the mother of his children Marisol Quiles of Bridgeton, and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be held on Wednesday May 7th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will be private.
