JoAnn (Bridi) Pennington, 67 of Millville passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland after a brief illness. JoAnn was born on November 22, 1953 in Vineland to the late Louis and Josephine (Grotti) Bridi.

JoAnn resided for many years in East Vineland attending both St. Mary's Elementary School and Vineland High School. JoAnn was active in her youth working alongside her family on their farm. JoAnn also enjoyed horseback riding at a young age and had a love for animals of all types. JoAnn had a passion for antiques, thrifting and hunting yard sales. She also prided herself in cooking especially for her family, never letting anyone go hungry. Throughout her life she made many great friends and had a knack for allowing people to be themselves and always feel comfortable around her. JoAnn demonstrated a genuine love for children, treating them like they were her own.

JoAnn was predeceased by her father, Louis Bridi and her mother, Josephine (Grotti) Bridi, her Uncle Dominic "Duck" Bridi, her Aunt Olga (Grotti) Starpoli, nephew Charles Klein, and fiance Merle J. Saul.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Nicholina Pennington (affectionately known as Buggy by her Mom) and her husband Willis Wareham Jr., her 8 grandchildren Macie (Erik), Willie, CJ, Kristen, Tori, Preston, Bella and McKenzie, a brother Milio "Mickey" Grotti (Mae), a sister Mary Emma (Bridi) Klein (Sam) as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. JoAnn also is survived by her former husband Herbert Pennington and her beloved Nicholas "Pickle" Ross.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 12th at 11:00 am at Padre Pio Parish, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 4680 Dante Ave. Vineland, NJ. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St Jude's Cancer Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
