John George Bauman, age 64 of Pittsgrove, passed away Friday Feb. 15th at home. John was born July 7, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Katherine (Symmons) Bauman Sr. and lived in Pittsgrove most of his life. Prior to retirement, John was employed by Kimble Glass Co. for 35 years as a Batch Handler. He was a member of Local Flint Glass Workers Union # 701 and served as a Trustee. John enjoyed farming and raising livestock with his father. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Anna (Bruno) Bauman of Pittsgrove. Two Brothers, Frank Bauman and his wife Joanne of Mays Landing and Bernie Bauman and his wife Andrea of Vineland. Brother-in-law, Joseph F. Cappuccio of Minotola, three nieces, Michele Bauman, Nancy (Bauman) Walker and Alison (Cappuccio) Trovarelli, two nephews, Frank Bauman III and Steven Cappuccio. Also special friends Bob and Sandy Wozunk and Tony Chipola and many wonderful neighbors. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 21st at 12:00 noon from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Frank Reeves and Deacon Robert Andreacchio officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are 10:00 AM to Noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
