John Albert Cassisi Jr., age 85, of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Genesis Millville Center.

Born in Vineland to the late John and Sadie (Messore) Cassisi Sr., he was a lifelong resident of the area. John graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1957. Before his retirement, he dedicated 42 years of his career to Kimble Glass of Vineland and later worked in the camera department at Two Guys Department Store. His passion for photography extended to wedding photography, and he had a special affinity for antique cars, belonging to the S.J. Cruiser and Corvette Unlimited clubs. John also enjoyed smoking pipes, shopping at the mall, and cherished Saturday night dinners with his family, especially spending quality time with his grandson.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose (Procopio) Cassisi, and his son, John Cassisi III. He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Marilyn Adams and her husband, Daniel Adams Sr., of Vineland; his grandson, Daniel Adams Jr.; and his dog, Dodger. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Taromina of Jupiter, FL, his brothers-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, March 31st, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, located at 1010 E. Landis Ave, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Church. Following the Mass, John will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
