Jorge Luis Rivera-Peña, age 68 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Jorge was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Isidoro and Nicolasa (Peña) Rivera and was a resident of Vineland for most of his life.  Prior to his retirement, Jorge worked for Casa DiBertacchi and Russo Farms, in Vineland.  He attended Vida de Fe Church of Vineland and enjoyed playing dominos and sharing time with his family.

Jorge was predeceased by his brother Isidoro Rivera Jr. and by his 2 sisters, Angelita Rivera and Juanita Rivera.

Jorge is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Gregoria Rodriguez of Vineland.  His 5 brothers; Ricardo, Natividad, Cecilio, Efrain and Domingo Rivera and by his 6 sisters; Petra Capeles, Rosita Rivera, Basilia Rivera, Maria E. Rivera, Iris M. Rivera and Zoraida Rivera.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Interment will take place in Remanso Cementerio in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
