Jose Cruz, age 61 of Vineland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Vitas Hospice Care, Stratford, NJ. Jose was born in Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Maria C. Cruz. In 1967 he moved to New York City and was a resident of Vineland for the past 6 years. Jose worked in construction and enjoyed playing chess. He loved to listen to music, watch Bonanza on T.V. and sharing time with his family. Jose is survived by his four children; Maritza L. Cruz, Jeremy Cruz, Maria L. Cruz and Alicia Cruz. Six grandchildren; Isabella L. Vargas, Jeremiah Cruz, Jaivon Cruz, Jason Cruz and Melanie and Jeremiah Negron. He is also survived by his 3 sisters; Elizabeth Nieves, Nellie Cruz and Marelin Cruz-Olivieri and by his 3 brothers; David Cruz, Juan Cruz and Angelo Cruz. And several nieces and nephews.
