J. Antonio "Tony" Cruz Jr. age 65 of Vineland, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, Tony came to this country at the age of 12. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Prior to his retirement, Tony was employed by the Daily Journal for over 20 years and also worked for Thera-Con Medical for many years. Tony was predeceased by his mother, Mirta Cruz. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lois (Pernazza) Cruz, his son Joseph Cruz and by his father Jose A. Cruz Sr., all of Vineland. He is also survived by his sister, Rosa Cruz of Minotola and 2 brothers, Jose R. Cruz of Turnersville and Ignatius Cruz of Millville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.
