José Luis Morales Arroyo passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 16, 1961, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Francisco Morales and Josephine Arroyo. José was raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and later lived with his family in Manhattan, New York, and Florida before settling in Vineland, New Jersey.

José dedicated over 30 years of his life working as a masonry foreman and skilled bricklayer. He took great pride in his craft and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, José found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved concrete work, fishing, crabbing, cooking, music, and dancing. He was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help family and friends whenever they needed him. His favorite saying, “Life is good,” reflected the positive outlook he carried throughout his life.

He is survived by his sister, Maria Concepcion; his former spouse, Carmen Serrano; his beloved children, Octavio Serrano, Carmen Morales, Brenda Morales, and Marysol Morales; as well as 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. José will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland.
