Joyce M. Perry, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

She was born on August 9, 1930 in St. Louis Missouri to the late David and Corledia (Brady) Mitchell. Joyce was the eldest of three girls and lived in Missouri up until she attended Fiske University in Tennessee, where she pledged Zeta Phi Beta. While attending Fiske, Joyce met her future husband Archie Perry, who was stationed in Tennesse for the military. Joyce graduated and the two then got married and moved to Vineland, New Jersey. They later had three kids and were married for 70 years.

Joyce attended Glassboro State and graduated with her Master's in education. She later went on to teach in the Vineland School system and retired in 1994 from Oakcrest /Absegami schools.
Joyce is survived by her three beloved children, daughters, Cheryl Butler and Cori Hayes and by her son Archie Perry. Her 11 cherished grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
