Juan M. Carreras, age 73 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28th, 2018 in Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland, surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Sixto and Claudia (Chevere) Carreras and he lived in Vineland most of his life.  Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Landscaper for Green Lawn Landscaping Co. of Vineland for over 20 years.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and sharing time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Maria (Gonzalez) Carreras of Vineland. Four daughters, Claudia Carreras and her husband Jose Reyes, Carmen Carreras and her companion Jose Santana, Sonia Ribot and her husband Miguel and Maria Banderas and her husband Domingo, all of Vineland. Also eight step-children, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one brother, 3 sisters, many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 5th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Family and friends may gather from 9:00-10:00 am on Tuesday, prior to the service.  Interment will be private
