Juan "Sunshine" R. Lopez, age 80 of Newfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 3 ^rd , 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Vidal and Clotide (Rosario) Lopez and lived in Newfield most of his life. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Shieldalloy Corp. of Newfield as a Lead Operator for over 25 years. Juan enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music and gardening. He was the lead guitar player for the Spanish Catholic Center of Vineland.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years- Gloria (Morales) Lopez of Newfield. Two sons, Raymond Lopez and his wife Emma of Vineland and Anthony Lopez and his wife Lilly of Orlando, Fla. 5 Grandchildren, Ray, Ashley, Tiffany, Lexie and Sean and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral liturgy will be held Tuesday, March 7 ^th 2017 at 11:00 AM from Divine Mercy Parish 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are Monday 7:00-9:00 PM in the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland and again on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the CHURCH.
