Juan Marrero-Ortiz Sr., age 82 of Vineland passed away Monday, September 3rd at home, surrounded by his loving family. Juan was born in Morovis, P.R. to the late Juan and Juanna (Ortiz) Marrero and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Vineland 38 years ago. Juan enjoyed gardening, dominoes and making his family and friends laugh. Juan was predeceased by his wife Carmen Marrero in 2000. Survivors include two sons, Edward Marrero of Atlantic City and Juan Marrero Jr. and wife Susan of Milmay. Two daughters, Nancy Garcia and her husband Jose of Vineland and Carmen Marrero of E.H.T. 7 Grandchildren, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8th at 7:00 pm from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private.
