Juan " Johnny" C. Ortiz, age 47 of Vineland, was called by The Lord over the weekend. Johnny was born in the Bronx, NY on November 2,1976 and  was raised in Puerto Rico before later moving to NYC with family, which then led him to move to Vineland.

Johnny was a great loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Father, who is now in Heaven with his Son, Jeremy and his father Juan. Johnny has left behind his mother, Carmen E. Rivera of Vineland, and siblings, nieces and nephews. Johnny was loved by many and still is loved by many and will be truly missed, because if you knew Johnny you know he would give his all if he had too, he never said no to anyone if they needed help.

Johnny enjoyed taking care of his mother and his family, but mostly his mother. Johnny always made sure his mother's health was always great and did everything he could for her. Johnny was a happy soul and a great soul. Johnny loved to listen to music, mainly classic Salsa. He also enjoyed gardening with his mother. Johnny loved working on cars with his nephew.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Cremation will follow privately.

Family and friends may gather on Thursday from 2:00-3:00 PM in the funeral home, prior to the service.
