Juana A. Colon

Juana A. Colón, a cherished resident of Vineland, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Born April 2, 1939, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Juana was the beloved daughter of Felix Amaro and Francisca Torres. She shared a beautiful life with her late husband, Juan R. Colón. As a devoted homemaker, Juana found joy in gardening and many visits to the casinos, even to Las Vegas, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Juan R. Colón, brothers Cruz Amaro Domingo, Saturnino, Manuel Amaro, and her grandson Jesse Lomax.

Juana leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Felix, Wilfredo (Elba), Paul, Ernest, Michael, and Aracelis Dias. Her memory will also be cherished by her sister, Ana (Carlos) Burgos, brother Felo (Noemi) Amaro, and her treasured grandchildren: Ricky, Marc Anthony, Julian, Selenia, Edgar, Roxaniia, Jovana, Cynthia, Elba, Gia, Idi, Ryan, Gary, Shyra, Devad, Avian, Naisha, and Gina, along with 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, Vineland, with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Juana will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Juan at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
