Juana Hilda Rivera, a stockbroker in Manhattan, NY went to be with the Lord on August 21st, 2020 at the beautiful age of 92, in peace. She then moved to Brooklyn, New York where she raised her 9 children. Later, she lived in Vineland, New Jersey where she resided the past 40 years.

Juana was born on June 22, 1928 in Cayey Puerto Rico. She worked at Bally's Hotel and Casino for 10 years until she retired living comfortably. She enjoyed watching her novela, "Young & The Restless", keeping her mind sharp doing crossword puzzles, singing, dancing, cooking, working, sewing, and most importantly taking care of her family.

She is predeceased by her children; Joseph Rivera, Rudy Rivera, Carmen Rivera, Henry Rivera and Candido Rivera.

Juana is survived by her children Hilda Rivera, Vivian Rivera, Emmanuel Rivera, Mr. and Mrs. Warren and Rose Hart, and nearly 50 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Juana was a mother to her grandchildren Angel Rivera, Manuel Mayas, Vivian Rivera DeJesus, Candido Mayas, Daniel Rivera, and Noel Rivera.

Juana was the #1 daughter, mother, grandmother and friend in the world, which is why she is so dearly loved and is extremely missed. Besides family, even friends called her "grandma". Not only was she the glue to her family, she was a great role model who instilled impeccable morals and values to all her family and friends creating a huge impact. Her infectious laugh, loving and compassionate nature, and genuine pureness will never be forgotten. We love you forever!

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am, prior to the service.
